Michael Todd Shinholster, Founder and Principal Consultant of Culture Bridge, helps clients develop the critical intercultural skills and credibility to successfully navigate today’s global business environment. Todd, as he is known, grew up with an American mother and an Austrian father. As he tried to find creative ways to eat both grits and schnitzel while navigating two languages and disparate cultural expectations, he developed an intrinsic understanding of what it means to build bridges between nuance, tradition and communication.
Building on his lifetime of cross-cultural experiences, Todd quickly acquired the academic credentials and corporate experiences that have uniquely positioned him as one of today’s leading cross-cultural experts. With his engaging style, quick wit and depth of knowledge, Todd consults for a variety of companies and delivers relevant, effective training programs focused on helping people build intercultural competency as a cornerstone of organizational success.
Before founding Culture Bridge, Todd worked for Delta Air Lines, the Atlanta Paralympic Organizing Committee, the Atlanta Committee for the Olympic Games and the 2004 G-8 Summit. He also serves as a Global Learning Specialist and Instructor of International Business at Kennesaw State University.
